In 2010, I launched The Corporate Agent.
It’s hard to imagine now. But back then, the mere mention of the word “corporate” within the solopreneur and info marketing circles was practically considered madness.
“No one wants to work with corporate, Angelique! That’s why everyone has ezines and info products!”
I’m not kidding when I say that in 2010, after I stepped off the stage from a presentation, I was literally surrounded by and run out of a conference by a group of entrepreneur bullies for being “too corporate.” (Oh, what a story! Remind me to share that another day.)
Despite the naysayers, I knew the potential for solo experts and micro business owners when it came to winning high-end corporate clients.
Yet, I was too naïve to anticipate the kind of movement we would start. Or the global community we would create over the last decade.
Indeed, in the last 11+ plus years, we’ve worked with thousands of business owners across more than 72 countries.
In the early years, a big part of our focus was simply bringing awareness and shifting perceptions about working with corporate clients.
We also focused this last decade on painstakingly mapping out timeless, proven processes, systems, and frameworks for getting clients. Debunking myths. And illuminating massive opportunity.
I’m truly humbled when I think about what’s been accomplished.
By our estimate, our small business and self-employed clients have collectively generated more than $250 million since 2010.
But even more importantly, our clients are making a massive positive impact in virtually every corner of the world.
Meanwhile, the world has shifted. It’s grown. It’s evolved.
And so have we.
It’s time for the next era.
One where the collective energy of conscious change agents is harnessed to accomplish big, brave things in areas where the world is desperately seeking leaders to emerge.
So, The Corporate Agent is NO MORE.
Today marks the start of something bolder.
Something that honors YOU, the people we serve.
You are the consultants. The leadership coaches. The keynote speakers. The expert service providers. The diverse business owners. And the CEOs of small enterprises.
YOU are world’s change agents.
And you are our purpose for existing.
